MOVIE AND PANEL DISCUSSION Abuse and neglect during childhood can trigger hormones that increase the odds of experiencing cardiovascular disease, auto-immune disease, mental illness and developmental delays. The documentary RESILIENCE, chronicles the birth of a new movement among pediatricians, therapists, educators and communities who are using brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction and disease.
