The United Nations Refugee Agency reports that of that number, over 52% are children. Regionally beloved artist and philanthropist, Bill Brown will talk about why he decided to create his refugee series as a way for one artist to make a difference in the world by contributing to the awareness of the crisis and encouraging others to do the same.
